The season is a divisional round-robin; each team plays every team in their division twice, and every team in the other division once, for a total of 19 games.
Both division winners advance to the playoffs, along with 2 wildcards.
Wildcards are the two teams with the second best records and must be from opposing divisions.
Division winners must be determined before wild card teams are selected, using division winner tiebreakers
if necessary. Only after division winners are determined, can the wild cards be selected, using wild card
tiebreakers if necessary. After the four playoff teams are selected, playoff seeding is applied.
